How do I get there?Dreamland’s entrance is on Marine Terrace, Margate CT9 1XJ; the entrance to the Amusement Park is just to the side of the cinema on Hall By The Sea Road. Link to Google Map Most of our other venues outside of Dreamland are a short 10 mins walk or less from the Marine Terrace, and are served by the same rail bus and coach routes, as outlined below. Car Excellent road links with the M20 and M2 motorways close-by providing easy links from London. Helpful route planners: www.theaa.com/route-planner www.rac.co.uk/route-planner Driving from France, the Eurotunnel train at Calais will transport you to Folkestone in just 35 minutes. From there, it is approximately a 1 hour drive to Thanet on the A20 and A256, follow the signs to Margate. Bus Stagecoach offer frequent bus services linking all of our venues this year in Margate with Thanet and Canterbury. Travelling to Canterbury? You can pick up the #8/8A service from Cecil Square town centre, as well as Marine Terrace, with a bus stop just outside the Margate Amusements, a five-minute walk from Marine Terrace. During the day, buses run every 15 minutes and the last bus taking you to Canterbury will depart at 17:41 (Mondays to Saturdays). Travelling elsewhere in Thanet? If you’re in Thanet, the Loop serves Margate, Cliftonville, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Westwood Cross. Running every 10 minutes until 18:30, and up to every 15 minutes in the evenings, pick up or hop off the bus at Cecil Street Council Offices bus stop (outside Thanet District Council Office), less than a 10 -minute walk from Dreamland and our other venues. Tel: +44 (0) 345 810 1000 www.stagecoachbus.co.uk Coach National Express coaches run from London Victoria coach station to Margate, stopping on Marine Parade just down the road from Dreamland and less than 10 minute’s walk away from our other venues outside of Dreamland. The first coach leaves London Victoria at 07:30 and the last coach leaves Margate at 15:55. Rail Dreamland our other event venues are just a 5 - 15 minutes walk from Margate train station, which is regularly served by South Eastern High Speed services travelling to/from London St. Pancras as well as trains from London Victoria. The train from London St. Pancras takes 90 minutes and a little longer from Victoria, and it's just 50 minutes from Ashford International station.

Is there parking at Dreamland?For all our event venues within Margate, you’ll find a mixture of off – street and on – street parking, with reasonable car parking rates applicable in some areas. You’ll also find ample parking near Dreamland at the Arlington Car Park, located on All Saints Avenue, CT9 5QH and and Dreamland Car Park on Belgrave Road, CT9 1XG. Please note, these car parks are operated by Smart Parking. For the Dreamland car park, the current rates are: Up to 1 hour – £1.50 Up to 2 hours – £3.00 Up to 4 hours – £6.00 Up to 15 hours – £9.00 Parking tariff applies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

What's in place for accessibility?Accessibility We aim to provide clear and accurate information to help our delegates with accessibility requirements so you can plan and enjoy your visit. We will be collecting accessibility requirements through the ticket booking form. Equally, if you have any questions or would like to talk with the team, please contact us via email: ukcf@ukcreativefestival.co.uk On the Day Our delegate management team will be able to give you information regarding site facilities, access, restrictions and provide any further advice needed to ensure your needs are met. Facilities Accessible toilets are available in many of our venues. Please note that some of these facilities are fitted with a RADAR Key, you are therefore advised to bring your own key to avoid unnecessary waits. Gender neutral toilets can be found in the Roller Room. The nearest Changing Places toilet is located at Thanet Gateway Plus, on Cecil Street. More information can be found here. The majority of our venues are accessible for wheelchairs. If you need assistance when visiting, you’ll find members of our team on hand who will be happy to help. Please note wheelchairs are not available to hire, we therefore advise you to bring your own.

How are we being sustainable?We are going paperless at the Creative Festival by cutting out all paper handouts and giveaways, and bringing in more digital signage, QR codes and using sustainable materials for any printed graphics. We pledge to re-use or donate any single use materials or equipment after the event and work with as many local suppliers and staff as possible to ensure we use produce that is as local as possible to support the local economy. We encourage our delegates to use public or shared transportation to help reduce the event carbon footprint. Water stations will be located throughout the Dreamland venue and we urge you to bring your own refillable water bottles, alternatively, we will have branded re-usable water bottles available to purchase.

If it rains, will the event still take place?The majority of the events will be held inside so will go ahead rain or shine, unless decided by the management that it is unsafe to continue. Please ensure you bring adequate clothing for the weather conditions on the day.

What should I wear?As the majority of events will be held inside, you’re free to wear your glad rags, but ensure you have something weather appropriate too!

Will there be a cloakroom?We will have a cloakroom located at the entrance of the Dreamland venue, that can be used during the festival, to hold small baggage and coats. All other venues will not have cloakroom facilities.

Will you be serving alcohol?Yes, there will be alcohol served in most of our the venues. You will need to show proof of age when buying alcohol.

Will you be serving food?Yes, there are a variety of food outlets in Dreamland for you to purchase food and drinks. Most of our event venues outside of Dreamland will also have food available.

When will tickets go on saleEarly bird tickets will go on sale 09:00 1st May 2025 There is a limited offer of a £100 discount on Festival tickets as well as other offers for Creative Circle Awards tickets. Careers Fair tickets are free for young creatives but you need to register for a free ticket.

Young creatives go free, but do I still need to register for a ticket?Yes, you can register for a free ticket on the Careers Fair page.

Do I get a tickets for the awards?If you purchase a ‘Full Festival & Awards Ticket’ you will have access to the Creative Circle Awards ceremony within your ticket. If you buy a ‘Festival Pass’ you will not be given access to the Awards ceremony. Alternatively you can purchase a ‘Creative Circle Awards Ceremony’ solely for the Creative Circle Awards, and not the Festival.

Can I change name and email details on my ticket after booking?For Creative Careers Fair and Festival tickets, you will be able to go into your ticketing information that will be emailed to you upon booking and change the name and email address on your ticket up to & including 4th July 2025. For Awards tickets, it will be possible to change name and email address details up to and including 3rd July 2025. Please also note, any dietary requirement changes will also need to be done by 3rd July to allow us to inform our catering partners.

Is my ticket refundable?Tickets are not refundable. The UK Creative Festival reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Festival and/or these Awards Rules if it considers it necessary or appropriate to do so, including if there is any actual or anticipated breach of applicable law, or if there are technical failures, unauthorised human intervention or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the UK Creative Festival Awards, or if modification, suspension or cancellation is necessary due to an event outside UK Creative Festival’s reasonable control.
